Epic XL is the first cable in the range that has the positive and negative dielectric completely separate, further enhancing the shielding offered to the signals.
Chord Epic XL is an evolution of the original Epic Reference now utilising XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) which after extensive listening tests proves to be
a big step forward in terms of sound quality over the previously used PTFE.
Epic XL Uses a similar construction as Epic X but with the conductors separated. This brings about a new sense of scale and rhythm, soundstage is noticeably more open and the timbre
of each individual instrument is more natural and life-like
Each order of Epic XL is custom made and hand built in Sailsbury Chord's factory. The cable can be terminated with either Banana plugs or Spade connection (please specify when ordering)
The cable is available in custom lengths and is charge at £200 per mono additional metre
