The AT33EV stereo moving coil cartridge builds upon the legacy of the AT33ANV, originally introduced as a special release commemorating our 45th anniversary. Retaining the acclaimed features of its predecessor, the AT33EV represents a further refinement and evolution of this renowned cartridge series.
Design and Performance
Featuring a ½ inch, standard mount design, the AT33EV cartridge boasts a 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical stylus and a tapered Duralumin cantilever. This innovative design reduces the effective mass of the cartridge, enhancing durability while maintaining exceptional sound quality. The Dual Moving Coil configuration enhances channel separation and extends the frequency response range, delivering unparalleled audio fidelity.
Neodymium Magnet and PCOCC Wire
Internally constructed with a neodymium magnet, the AT33EV cartridge maximises magnetic energy for superior performance. Additionally, PCOCC wire is employed for pure audio transmission, ensuring pristine sound reproduction with every playback.
Minimising Unnecessary Vibration
The interior housing of the AT33EV cartridge utilises 'Hanenite' to minimise unnecessary vibration, allowing the dual moving coil's outstanding performance to shine. By reducing vibration at the cantilever fulcrum support, the cartridge maintains its exceptional sound quality and clarity.
Rich Sound Reproduction
Embedded within a hard duralumin tapered pipe cantilever, the elliptical stylus chip of the AT33EV cartridge excels in reproducing sounds across the medium and low ranges. With its robust construction and outstanding mechanical strength, the duralumin cantilever produces natural, distortion-free sound, enriching the listening experience with its ability to faithfully capture musical nuances.
