Puritan CDTMC (Classic Dissipative Technology Mains Cables) Power Cable

Power cables are often underestimated in a system, yet they arguably play the most critical role among all your cables.

Virtually all signals in your system are connected to the mains feed that enters your system. The quality of this power supply significantly impacts the overall performance. Cleaner power leads to cleaner audio, lower noise floor, improved instrument separation, enhanced detail resolution, and a more musical experience.

Puritan's proprietary Dissipative Technology provides a unique barrier of dissipative shielding. Interference assaulting the cable is absorbed by the dissipative shields, where its energy is converted into micro heat energy through multiple attenuation paths, preventing electromagnetic interference (EMI) from reaching the internal conductors. This innovative technology avoids the issue of shielded interference being discharged onto the system earth plane.

Don't just take our word for it; these power cables have received a 5-star recommendation from HiFi Choice: "A beautifully made mains cable that delivers on its sonic promises."

And the best part? All this comes at half the cost of most mains cables on the market.

So, add one to your system today, and we're confident you'll soon be coming back for more!

Puritan's affordable Classic cable incorporates all their key design principles for an ideal cable. It addresses aspects that Puritan believes compromise fidelity, which many more expensive cables overlook. The Classic is an outstanding audio bargain that's hard to beat.

Ordinary mains cables' conductors act as antennas for the electromagnetic interference present in our environment. They direct this interference directly into our audio reproduction chain, hindering the system's ability to accurately resolve subtle information.

While conventional shielded cables prevent interference from reaching the conductors, they often deposit these disturbances to ground, increasing system noise and signal errors.

Puritan's Dissipative Technology provides a unique dissipative shielding barrier. Interference is absorbed by the dissipative shields, where its energy is dissipated as micro heat energy through multiple attenuation paths. This prevents EMI from reaching the internal conductors and avoids the problem of shielded interference being dumped onto the system earth plane.

Available in lengths of 1.0m, 1.5m, 2.0m, and 3.0m, or custom lengths, with C7, C13 (standard), or C19 connectors and UK or European plug types. Other plug and connector types are available upon request.
