The MA5300 is the smallest of the solid-state amplifiers.
But this is McIntosh smallest... which means that it is far from
a little amplifier in terms of performance!
Using the smaller chassis McIntosh has still squeezed a huge amount of performance into this compact box.
Delivering 100 into 8 Ohms or 160 Watts into 4 Ohms this is no little amplifier!
Flanked by the beautiful dual scale blue Watt metres this is a great looking amplifier.
It has a whole host of inputs :
6 Analogue inputs (4 Unbalanced RCA, 1 pair balanced XLR, 1 Moving Magnet phono input)
6 Digital inputs (2 Coaxial, 2 Optical , 1 USB , 1 MCT*)
The digital inputs are housed in the DA1 module, this module is upgradable, so as an when new performance features become available in the rapidly changing digital landscape, you will not be left behind. Simply remove the DA1 and fit the new board to bring your MA5300 right up to date.
*MCT connection is used with McIntosh SACD/CD players for full SACD playback - MCT cable supplied with source component.
