The AT33PTG/II Moving Coil Cartridge represents an advancement over its predecessor, the AT33PTG, with enhanced features and improved performance.
Advanced Design
This model features a sophisticated nude tapered boron cantilever, which has been meticulously thinned down and shortened compared to the AT33PTG. Additionally, the coil impedance has been refined from 17Ω to 10Ω, resulting in significant weight reduction in the vibration system. These enhancements contribute to improved basic performance and sound quality.
High-Performance Microlinear Stylus
Equipped with a Microlinear (ML) stylus, specially polished for optimal performance, this cartridge delivers exceptional high-range performance. The small curvature radius of the stylus reduces distortion and enables expanded high-range reproduction, even when playing at the inner circumference of records. The consistent line contact shape ensures longevity, with an average product lifetime of around 1000 hours.
Outstanding Magnetic Properties
Featuring a neodymium magnet with dramatically enhanced magnetic energy and a permendur yoke with high saturation flux density, the AT33PTG/II delivers outstanding magnetic properties for superior performance.
Purer Transmission
The PCOCC coil enables purer transmission by eliminating grain boundaries in the direction of transmission, resulting in clearer audio reproduction.
Vibration Limitation
To limit unnecessary vibration, the VC mould that affixes the coil is constructed from hard synthetic resin containing potassium titanate, ensuring strength and rigidity.
