Audio Technica VM530EN/H Moving Magnet Cartridge with HS10 Headshell
The Audio Technica VM530EN/H features a high-end elliptical stylus model pre-assembled with a lightweight aluminium headshell (AT-HS10). The nude elliptical stylus helps reduce the execution mass of the vibration system while offering increased frequency reproduction.
Internationally-Patented Dual Magnet Design
Audio-Technica’s patented Dual Magnet design replicates the structure of the cutter head. Instead of using a single, large magnet, the two magnets are arranged in a "V" shape, precisely positioned to match the left and right channels in the stereo groove walls. This design ensures outstanding channel separation, extended frequency response, and superb tracking.
Para-toroidal Generating System
Para-toroidal coils improve generating efficiency and offer superb linearity, as leakage of magnetic flux in this continuous and unitised magnetic circuit is low. The permeability of the cores is also optimised through the use of laminated cores.
Centre Shield Plate for Reduced Crosstalk
A permalloy centre shield plate enables effective separation of left and right channels, suppressing electrical crosstalk to below 40dB. This level of crosstalk suppression is similar to the actual crosstalk value found in the grooves of the record itself.
Preassembled With HS10 Headshell
The VM530EN cartridge is fitted onto a die-cast aluminium HS10 Headshell, suitable for 4-pin turntable arms, providing convenience and ease of installation.
Elliptical Nude Stylus
The elliptical diamond stylus follows groove modulation with greater precision compared to a conical stylus, offering improved frequency and phase responses while reducing distortion.
