Building on the performance of the R1 Signatures the R1 Arrette takes this speaker to the next level.
By upgrading the internal cables with NCS aligned crystal cable the internal performance of the signal is further maintained allowing the very clearest possible signal arriving at the drive units.
The R1 Arrette also utilises the Freedom Gound system, this is a specific earth grounding on the loudspeaker. Put simple the difference this makes is HUGE! Once you ground the speaker to the mains using the customer made cables available for these speakers, there is an immediate and certainly not subtle performance improvement. The noise floor is lower meaning that you can hear more nuances in the music. The soundstage is even more open and the control on the bass even tighter, let's be clear the R1 speakers are all very good but the improvements you hear through the range from to the standard to the signature then onto the arrete are certainly justifiable.
Audiovector is aware that their customer might aspire to the next level of the speaker but can't quite get there, so they are one of the only loudspeaker brands that offer an upgrade option. This means that if you purchase a pair of R series speakers you can send them back to the factory and they will upgrade to the next level up or you can go from standard to arrete if you wish to (POA).
