The PMC twenty5.22i takes audio to the next level, designed for use in larger spaces than its sibling, the twenty5.21i. It's a versatile speaker equally comfortable on dedicated stands, console furniture, or flat surfaces. Despite its sleek dimensions, this speaker conceals an impressive ATL (Advanced Transmission Line) inside. Paired with a robust 6.5-inch g-weave bass driver and Laminair vent, it delivers clean, powerful bass and detailed highs through a newly designed soft-dome treble unit. While larger, its performance remains agile and dynamic.

Crafting the perfect cabinet, one that pleases both the eye and the ear, involves a fusion of cutting-edge, computer-controlled machining and traditional craftsmanship. Structural integrity and accuracy are paramount in loudspeaker enclosure construction. PMC's holistic design approach considers every element to enhance performance. Precision machined panels of highly specified HDF material, some up to 40mm thick, form both the cabinet and house the sophisticated ATL. Veneered models are meticulously prepared inside and out with veneer for stability and longevity.
Accurate joints and modern bonding agents create a flawless, homogeneous structure, serving as an inert platform for drive units to deliver pure, uncoloured audio. Premium veneers sourced from sustainable forests are hand-selected and matched to create perfect cabinet faces. A delicate lacquer finish adds a flawless, deep, and lustrous sheen.
ATL Bass-Loading Technology
The heart of PMC's renowned natural sound lies in ATL (Advanced Transmission Line) bass-loading technology, a global professional standard. ATL intelligently harnesses energy generated by the bass unit more efficiently than traditional speaker designs based on ported or sealed boxes. In ATL loudspeakers, the highly braced cabinet is lined with custom-designed acoustic materials that absorb higher frequencies, allowing only the very lowest to exit from a front-panel vent. This extends low-frequency response, creating the impression of a larger speaker with exceptional bass quality.
ATL enhances more than just bass response; it ensures that the low end is clean and clear, preserving the clarity of the entire audio spectrum. Vocals, in particular, are projected beautifully and vividly.
