Sarum T Super ARAY from The Chord Company

Last week we had the chance to listen to cables from The Chord Company. They are Sarum T Super ARAY. They brought in speaker cables, a power cable, and RCA interconnect.

We first listened to the power cables. There were 5 demonstrations, from the basics to top-of-the-range cables. We first listened to the basic power cables that come with the box, followed by Clearway power cable, then the Shawline, then Epic power cable. Lastly was the Sarum T Super ARAY power cable. Each cable had a clearer and crisper sound than the previous one and the Sarum T Super ARAY power cable opened up the sound stage and had the most details and tightest bass.

We then kept the Sarum T main cables in the amplifier and listened to the difference between Epic XL speaker cables and Sarum T Super ARAY speaker cables. The details were good before, but the Sarum T Super ARAY speaker cables were able to provide a fuller and more reveling sound.

Finally, we listened to the difference between the RCA cables going from the streamer to the amplifier starting with Signature X. When with changed to Sarum T Super ARAY, the sound from the streamer to the amplifier added more quality to the system and the bass was more refined.

The whole experience was very good. These cables are made from insulation material, Taylon® which improves keeping the sound clean and keeping out the frequencies.
