AT-VM9E Series Compatibility with AT-XP Series DJ Cartridges
The electromagnetic engine-body of the XP-Series is fully compatible with all replacement styli of the VM95 Series, delivering higher output voltage than VM95 Series cartridges. This enhanced compatibility ensures improved performance with the phono inputs of Professional DJ Mixers. While VM95 Series electromagnetic engine-bodies are compatible with the three replacement styli of the DJ cartridge AT-XP Series, the XP-Series engine-body delivers higher output voltage for better compatibility with Professional DJ Mixer inputs. Notably, XP Series styli typically require a tracking force of three grams compared to two grams for VM95 Series styli. The suspension design and compliance of XP-Series styli are optimised for intensive DJing, including manual cueing and back-cueing, while VM95 Series suspension design and compliances are tailored for optimum audiophile reproduction.
Elliptical Bonded Stylus
The elliptical diamond stylus of the AT-XP7 follows groove modulation with precision surpassing that of a conical stylus. This design offers improved frequency and phase responses while reducing distortion, ensuring superior audio performance.
Pre-mounted on the AT-HS6BK Headshell
The AT-XP7 cartridge is pre-mounted onto the 9g aluminium die-cast body headshell, simplifying installation and enhancing compatibility with various turntable setups.
