Description
The Chord ClearwayX Subwoofer cable incorporates Chord's ARAY conductor geometry, using high-quality oxygen-free copper conductors. These are insulated with XLPE and damped with PVC for mechanical stability. Dual layer heavy gauge foil provides shielding, and the cable is fitted with Chord VEE 3 RCA plugs, which include XLPE insulation between signal and return contacts. The VEE 3 RCA plug has direct silver plating for enhanced signal transfer, making the ClearwayX ideal for high-performance sound systems.
The ARAY conductor geometry allows the cable to transmit detailed and dynamic information, while maintaining musical coherence. Each ClearwayX interconnect is built to high standards and rigorously tested in the UK. Part of Chord’s newest range, the ClearwayX Analogue cable also features XLPE insulation, which has been adapted from the award-winning Sarum Tuned ARAY design for improved performance in both interconnects and speaker cables.
