iFi Audio Nova Mains Power Cable
The Nova power cable from iFi Audio is designed to elevate your audio experience. It incorporates five conductors, each meticulously crafted from heavy-gauge, continuous-cast OFHC (Oxygen-Free High Thermal Conductivity) copper. What sets it apart is its unique and geometrically balanced configuration, a remarkable feature considering its price point.
Balanced Configuration Within the Nova power cable, two pairs of live and neutral conductors are arranged symmetrically on either side of the earth conductor, which is positioned at the cable's centre. Additionally, a pair of air-dielectric delineators, essentially polymer matrix tubes filled with air, are placed on either side of the earth conductor. This design not only keeps the live and neutral conductors apart but also enhances the cable's overall dielectric performance and structural integrity.
Durable Construction The cable is encased in a robust yet flexible polymer outer sheath, ensuring durability and flexibility. iFi has equipped it with bespoke audiophile-grade connectors, featuring 24ct gold-plated oxygen-free copper conductors for optimal signal transmission.
Ground Zero Design A standout feature of the Nova power cable is its innovative "Ground Zero" design. As previously mentioned, it consists of five conductors, each made from heavy-gauge OFHC copper. The live and neutral conductors are symmetrically arranged, effectively canceling out their magnetic fields. The ground conductor is uniquely arranged in a shotgun configuration, avoiding the common twisting found in other mains cables.
This design ensures that no residual magnetic field is applied to the central ground conductor, and there is no unwanted induced voltage on the ground conductor. The result is pure, silent power delivery to your audio or AV components.
Enhanced Performance The Nova power cable offers several advantages. It maintains a constant impedance and provides superior rejection of EMI/RFI (Electromagnetic Interference/Radio-Frequency Interference), preserving the purity of the mains electricity supplied to your audio or AV equipment. However, it truly shines when paired with iFi's PowerStation mains-conditioning bar, which filters out common mode and differential mode noise from the mains supply. As well as your statutory cancellation rights described above, you can return most products within 30 days of receipt of the products if the products are complete and are in an unused and undamaged condition. Please note that you must return each item in the same condition in which you received it. This means that new items must be returned new, unused and complete (including all accessories). Refunds for returned items that are not received in this condition, may be reduced.
