1. Open Soundstage in a Compact Form The Q 3010i speakers from Q Acoustics masterfully achieve an open, 'being there' sound quality, defying their compact size. Equipped with 100mm (4 in) and 22mm (0.9 in) precision drivers, these speakers excel in delivering room-filling sound with a focus on the power-to-size ratio. The revised crossover, aided by a larger cabinet volume, enhances both sensitivity and bass extension. This makes the 3010i speakers versatile for shelf-mounting with pre-fitted rubber feet, stand-mounting, or wall-mounting with optional accessories.
2. Enlarged Cabinet for a More Robust Sound The 3010i maintains its acoustically optimal design but comes in a slightly taller and 25% deeper frame than its predecessors. This increase in internal volume allows for an extended low-frequency response from the ported design, creating a surprisingly large-scale sound from small enclosures. The added depth also reduces internal noise reflection, ensuring cleaner sound output.
3. Innovative Low Profile Binding Posts Q Acoustics has enhanced the structural integrity of the 3010i by removing conventional terminal panel cut-outs. This is complemented by new low-profile binding posts that can accommodate 4mm (0.16 in) Banana Plugs. This design allows for close-to-wall placement of the speakers, providing flexibility in room setup without compromising on sound quality.
