Overview

Tascam BD-MP4K Professional 4K UHD Blu-Ray Player

The Tascam BD-MP4K is a remote-controllable, professional-grade 4K UHD Blu-ray player designed to meet the demands of various commercial installations requiring ultra-high definition image quality. Whether it's for public facilities, educational institutions, commercial venues, theatres, or entertainment businesses, the BD-MP4K delivers exceptional performance.

Space-Saving Design

Occupying only one height unit in the rack, the compact BD-MP4K eliminates the need for discrete audio/video playback devices, saving valuable space in installation racks.

Versatile Media Compatibility

The BD-MP4K supports a wide range of media and file formats, including Blu-ray, DVD, CD, USB flash devices, SD cards, and network shares via Gigabit Ethernet. This single-source playback device simplifies installations by accommodating diverse media types.

Integrated Media Systems

For integrated media systems requiring remote control operation, the BD-MP4K offers both RS-232C and IP network connectivity. This enables seamless two-way control between devices, enhancing integration into larger systems.

Local and Remote Control

All playback functions can be accessed locally from the front panel or remotely via RS-232C, IP network, or infrared remote control. Panel, tray, and IR remote control lock features prevent unauthorized changes or use.

High-Quality Audio Outputs

The BD-MP4K features individual connectors for 7.1 Surround Sound, providing immersive audio playback. Professional-grade XLR balanced stereo analogue outputs and RCA unbalanced stereo outputs offer versatility in audio routing and setup.

Digital Audio Output

Support for professional-grade digital audio output formats, including Dolby, DTS, and two-channel linear PCM (SPDIF), is provided via the rear-panel coaxial output.

Multiple HDMI Outputs

Two HDMI outputs, supporting HDMI 2.0 and 1.4 (audio only) formats, facilitate quick and easy connection to HDMI-compatible display monitors, projectors, or televisions.

Secure Operation

Panel and tray lock features protect against accidental settings changes, while IR remote control lock prevents unauthorized use. An elegant power-up display sequence ensures a non-distracting visual start-up environment.

Seamless Integration

Seamless, reliable two-way control via RS-232C and Ethernet allows integration into sophisticated audio/video setups. The included IR remote control and easily accessible front-panel control buttons offer convenient operation.

Comprehensive Connectivity

With support for virtually all common media and file formats, extensive connection options, and professional-grade audio and video quality, the BD-MP4K meets the highest demands for professional use in permanent installations or touring setups.
