JENO Engine and ADCT

The JENO Engine, developed by Technics, stands as a sophisticated solution to combat sound distortion induced by jitter in digital systems. Addressing timing irregularities within master clocks, this technology incorporates a noise-shaping system with a clock generator to minimize low-frequency jitter and a high-precision sample rate converter to suppress high-frequency jitter. The result is a comprehensive reduction of jitter across the entire frequency range, preserving music nuances with faithful reproduction. JENO Engine works in synergy with a high-precision Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) conversion circuit, ensuring an authentic dynamic range.

ADCT (Active Distortion Cancelling Technology) takes audio precision a step further. This technology accurately detects and eliminates distortion in the power output stage caused by a speaker's counter electromotive force and voltage fluctuations. By distinguishing between the speaker terminal output and the JENO output, ADCT corrects the digital signal, ensuring robust speaker drive, low noise, precise sound imaging, and spacious sound ambiance regardless of speaker types.

Advanced Speed Silent Power Supply and Four Independent Power Supply Units:

The SU-R1000 incorporates an Advanced Speed Silent Power Supply, a switching power supply system that maintains voltage and current stability for the digital amplifier. With a fixed switching frequency at 400kHz, load changes do not introduce modulation noise. The Super Low Noise Regulator enhances power supply stability and eliminates noise interference, ensuring optimal digital amplifier performance.

The integration of four independent power supply units for different circuit blocks enhances sound quality. Separate units for analogue and digital circuits in the pre-amp stage minimize noise transmission, while dedicated units for the power amp stage's right and left channels reduce power-line-induced interference. This approach ensures a high signal-to-noise ratio and exceptional channel separation.

High-grade Digital/Analogue I/O Circuit and High Rigidity Chassis:

The SU-R1000 features a full-discrete circuit design for the phono input and analogue input sections, providing excellent channel separation. The USB input circuit incorporates high-quality components to block electrical noise and enable high-precision A/D conversion. The high-grade digital/analogue I/O circuit ensures high-purity signal transmission with minimal noise.

To minimize enclosure vibrations and noise, the SU-R1000 boasts a high-rigidity chassis with a double-deck structure, steel shield plates isolating circuit blocks, and 10mm thick front panel. The side and top panels consist of 6mm-thick aluminum plates, enhancing stability and vibration resistance. Cast iron insulators further attenuate external vibrations.

Crosstalk Canceller:

The Crosstalk Canceller function measures the crosstalk characteristic specific to each cartridge using the calibration record's crosstalk measuring signal. Applying reverse-correction via the built-in DSP improves crosstalk characteristics, leading to more precise sound imaging and an expanded sound ambience.
